Open the CSV (note you had corrected it) and see what is the first line.
The following is the way Windows Mail's Contact are set up. Note, this is
one line with the commas separating the fields.
First Name,Last Name,Middle Name,Name,Nickname,E-mail Address,Home
Street,Home City,Home Postal Code,Home State,Home Country/Region,Home
Phone,Home Fax,Mobile Phone,Personal Web Page,Business Street,Business
City,Business Postal Code,Business State,Business Country/Region,Business
Web Page,Business Phone,Business Fax,Pager,Company,Job
Title,Department,Office Location,Notes
After the fields, you will see something like
Bob, Bobm B, Bob Bob,,,,,,,,,,,,,,bob@bob.com,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and similar.
A CSV file is just a text file you can open in Notepad. They're easy to
convert as all you have to do is sort out the fields given (Earthlink) to
the fields needed (Contacts). |
