Re: Vista freeze up? There are a number of Active Tasks scheduled by Vista. Many are
Triggered actions and some wait for a system idle time before they
run. The problem doesn't sound like Indexing. It is designed to be a
low priority service that wouldn't account for a system pause/lag. I
would check the System Event log for error(s).
You can also check the "Active Tasks" for Scheduler using the MS
Management console.
