RE: Strange issue w/ flashing windows (SOLVED) After using a video camera and then stepping-through the footage
frame-by-frame in order to capture the mystery transient screen (my 13yr old
son's plan), we found it was AutoPlay.
Disabling AutoPlay in Vista, subsequently fixed the problem that politby
described in the first post. I dont know what i'm missing by not having
AutoPlay, but I guess I'll find out later.
