Something to try...
Control Panel|POWER OPTIONS
Click on "change plan settings" (for the plan in use)
Click on "change advanced power settings"
Expand the SLEEP branch
If there is an HYBRID SLEEP subfolder, expand it and set it to ON (if it
isn't that already)
