Re: Vista installation hangs at boot screen

I got the same problem as crazye_star. I think he tried to install from an OS
installed and not from the DVD. The install process copied the files,
expanded them and, when tried to reboot from Vista, the system shows the
black screen with the blank line, then the boot screen with the green line,
and finally this blue screen:
"STOP: C000021a {fatal error}
The initial session process or system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0x00000000 (0xc0000001 0x0010034c).
The system has been shut down."
When trying booting directly from the DVD the process is the same.
It seems that when the boot is initiated from the Wista OS (on HDD or on
DVD), the system hangs with this fatal error.
I disabled all the perpherals not needed in the setup, even the S-ATA
feature, keeping only the IDE channel for my IDE HDD and DVD: same result.
I think that the problem comes from the video card because this error
happend just when switching in graphical mode ...
My motherboard is an Aopen i865POEa-7IF with CPU Intel 2,8 and my graphic
adapter is a Geforce 6200 (AGP 8x) , as crazye_star !!!
I also read on this forum another posts where troubles appeared in systems
using this video card. However the package of this adapter announce "Cerified
for Windows Vista" !
Did somebody tried with another one ?
