In my case a reboot also fixes the problem, but this way I can' make use of
the sleeping mode. I found update

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929685/en-us) which fixes audio problems.
Attempted instaling but said in my case was not applicable. There is another
fix 919777 which could be also appropriate but they recomend not to install
it unless absolutelly required.
Some more info from my bug in case is helpfull. Micro and Sound are not the
only ones affected, webcam as well. Monitor is Ok thought (some people posted
problems with monitor).
