RE: To all with HP/Compaq Audio Problems

Hello,

I'm just about to solder in a Vista Audio chip into my HP Pavilion
ze5375us..!!! No Audio drivers for "Conexant AC-Link Audio". I've tried 10
different drivers 10 different ways...Same result.. No Audio. Sooooooo.....

I was lucky and got a hold of a good HP Tech today and he said that HP is
"very aware" of this Conexant AC-Link Audio driver issue with Vista. A driver
is in the works at HP right now. He felt that it will be posted on HP's
download site pretty soon. HP is receiving hundreds of emails and calls
everyday about this.

That's good news. Check HP's site for the released driver. It shouldn't be
too long according to the tech.

Have a good one..! Charlie V
