I received MS Streets & Trips 2006 from Gateway as part of MS Works Suite
2006 with my new computer.

After installing and trying to access, I received the following error message:
"Your registry settings for this application were not copied correctly. To
correct these settings, run setup again for this application from the
location where you originally installed it."

After uninstalling/re-installing failed, I contacted Gateway. I was told
that the only way to access MS Streets & Trips 2006 was to 'Turn Off User
Account Control'.
Doing this requires a re-start of the system.

I was able to access MS Streets & Trips 2006 in this manner.

This is clearly an issue. Is there another way to access this program
without turning off UAC? Is MS aware of this issue?
