Re: Zero size files in Windows Mail message store

My WMUtil program (www.oehelp.com/WMUtil/) will remove all the zero byte
files in the message store. The only consequence of the files would appear
to be loss of performance due to their accumulation. The other issues some
are experiencing are unrelated to these files.

I went into Windows Explorer to investigate the Windows Mail message store
and I saw zero size entries seemingly for every message I have ever sent or
received
and then DELETED for both the mail and newsgroups.

Why, even though these messages have been deleted and the message store has
been
compacted numerous times, are these zero byte files retained?

Might this have something to do with all the numerous Windows Mail problems?
