My experience with Vista has been horrible. I had to re-write a few of
my Access Modules (2003) because of subtle quirks which weren't always
obvious. My issues were not only limited to Office and Vista but
generally between other applications and systems. It took a week just
to get my Vista box working between issues with my router and SBS 2003
server. My recommendation is spend a few extra dollars and buy a copy
of XP for the new computer. If Vista will run on it so will XP. Hold
onto your license of Vista and after a year or two when MS and other
vendors have work out all of their issues with older apps, upgrade the
computer. |
