Yes I assume you have vista INSIDE the VMWARE console... or in otherwords
vista is the
virtual computer... go to the command on VMWARE and select to install the
tools,
then go in the vista (virtual computer) and look in the CD, there you will
see the setup files
do the setup manually
the only reason you see them pop up, is because AUTORUN starts inside the
virtual machine
as it things that a cd is inserted when you give the command install vmware
tools from the vmware interface...
