Will try it out later..looks like it might do the trick but the odd thing is I installed Firefox and it worked first time....so must be something in how IE is interacting with the security policy -Why do M$ mess about with these things so much and can't publish a detailed 'what i used to do in XP' and 'how to do it in Vista?' - seems an obvious ommission they. Will post an update later on whther it was successful..thanks

Nope...mainly i think becuase i am running Vista Home Premium and the point
- Double-Click Local Security Policy - this isn't available in admin tools - i assume for this version.... so am no further forward except i should use Firefox instead of IE..can't be right though..
