Re: Vista system file corruption and sfc problem

what causes file corruptions? why are some corruptions so mutant that they
cannot be repaired (why can't /scannow just replace it?)


after a repair install, it becomes necessary to use the personal backup,
isn't it possible that the corrupted files are *in the backup*? if this is
the case then you will have repair install'ed with no benefit conferred! (am
i making sense?)
