Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately your suggestions didn't work but I
did figure out the problem - too many contacts. As soon as I deleted many of
the contacts the problem disappeared.

Plus, after I deleted a large portion of the old e-mail it ran even better.

Perhaps too many addresses and too much e-mail is causing other problems
that are posted here as well.

I thought this post might help others that may be trying to resolve unusual
Windows Mail issues.
