Re: Refresh rate The higher a refresh rate, on a standard CRT monitor, the less screen
flicker you will see. But, you can NOT go above the maximum recommended by
the manufacturer for your monitor. You should usually run at the recommended
maximum for eye comfort.
LCD monitors work just fine at 60hz refresh rate (different technology uses
no raster scan) and you gain nothing to little by increasing it to the
maximum allowed.
