Hi all. What happened with me was that I didn't uninstall my beta
version prior to upgrading to vista premium and then after I upgraded
the beta version was still showing up in the "uninstall or change
programs list". When I "uninstalled it" it removed the beta version
but took some essential files with it from the windows vista version of
defender. You have to uninstall it before fixing the windows vista
version of defender. After which time You can begin the fix process
which I've already explained(above, in previous message).
[B]Note: The windows vista version of defender does not and is not
supposed to show up on your "change or uninstall programs list". If
you have one showing there then its the beta version. Hope this
