You need to delete a registry setting.
Be careful doing this.
In search, type regedit.
Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main
Delete the following keys:
Placeholder_Height
Placeholder_Width
