I have a much simular problem. I've _no_ router, just my DSL modem. I can
log on, verify username and password, but I can't communicate. I have to
feed in the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx number into the browser window, then it seems to
work. I've worked with my Computer shop and ISP, tried every possible
variation, with no results. So, I'm on a borrowed machine. Does anyone have
any sort of solution????
