I am a bit lost on what could cause this type of problem in any version of windows, the LAN either works or it doesnt it cant give you really slow speeds unless something else was using the bandwidth or your internet speed was cut-down.
I can suggest downloading a file from your ISP it will give you a very good idea if there are any bottlenecks or errors somewhere between you and the ISP`s servers, the other thing to check would be the adapter itself in device manager and making sure the correct duplex configuration for your cables and router. |
