Hi Bob,

It's a bit more messy than that. Under 'Recording Devices' I have
'Microphone', 'Rear Mic' and 'Line In' listed. The only way to get one
of these devices listed as 'Working' is to (a) set it to default and
then (b) change the setting in 'Levels' (from anything to anything)!
The next problem is that when the machine is next started the device
listed as 'Working' may have changed! I don't know why I shouldn't be
able to have
all of them working?

Hope you've some ideas.
