Re: How to delete Lan connection in Vista First of all, you can't "delete" the network adapter for the LAN, although
you can disable it by right-clicking on it. However, I don't think this is
your problem. We need more information. You say that when you try to set
up a dialup connection that the system tells you that it can't detect your
modem.
Does the modem show up in Device Manager? To find out, click Start\Run,
type "devmgmt.msc" and click OK. If a "Modems" item is listed, click the
"+" next to it and tell us what you see.
