Hi,
There's no downgrade, regardless of whether you but OEM or retail, so you
need to back up your data to removable media and do a clean install. If you
buy a retail upgrade, you will need to reinstall XP first, and this cannot
be done without removing and recreating the existing system
partition/volume.
