Thanks for the reply. You are correct that I
want to get rid of the uninstalls for things
updated. In XP they were folders in the
"Windows" folder prefaced with a
dollar sign ($). You could manually delete
them to free up space. And this is very
necessary on older XP installations as I
have seen well over a GB of these uninstall
folders. More than a hundred uninstall folders
for things the user will never need to uninstall.

I will see if I can post the question to the
group you mentioned.
