Re: dual booting vista and xp.

Yes, install both on separate disk partitions, and install Windows Vista
after Windows XP and also, allocate a minimum of 15 GBs to Vista since you
might want install applications and System restore uses a considerable
amount of disk space. See the previous post which discusses a similar topic.
