Re: Nvidia or ATI?
I bought a Nvidia 6600 and have been having problems with it "losing"
desktop icons until I refresh the desktop (then I have to reposition them
from the top left corner, where they're moved to after recovering them), and
occasionally changing the size of desktop icons "on its own." I've
downloaded the latest drivers and that's helped, but not solved the problem
completely.
Other than that, it seems OK. I have read, however, then Nvidia is having
some problem getting its Vista drivers "right."
I don't know how the later Nvidia cards work; they may be better. But if I
had it to do over again, I'd go ATI again.
