When you use the option to replace the task manager in Process Explorer, it
does exactly that.

Pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and selecting Start Task Manager from the menu, does
nothing.

Pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC, does nothing.

Right clicking the Taskbar and selecting Task Manager, displays a red X
dialog with "The requested operation requires elevation" with just an "OK"
button.

The only way to start Process Explorer and undo that 'replace task manager'
option is to start Process Explorer from a shortcut or type 'Taskmgr' in the
Start/Search box and then right click Task Manager there and select the Run
As Administrator" option.

If you still have Process Explorer installed, go to Start and type: process
In the results, click Process Explorer and confirm the elevation prompt.

You can then go to Options and remove the check mark from the "Replace Task
Manager" option.
