Simon,
If Network Magic is involved, you should probably start by asking them for
support.
Network Magic adds a layer of complexity on top of Windows Networking (plus
charges for the service). Any network that NM will make to work *can* work on
its own, if you have enough patience and persistence. Try getting rid of NM,
and fixing the problem.
