Sorry, I'm at a Best Buy, we have Vista Basic on Sony VAIOs, Gateways,
eMachines, HPs, Acers, etc. You don't save that much, but I steer people
into them if they are just looking for an "Internet" machine, but I usually
can sell them on 1gig ram at least, and the best thing about Basic is if you
want to upgrade you can do it online.
Then I tell them, for about the same price you can get an iMac with
everything you need out of the box. haha. I'm not big into Mac, but those
things sell themselves once people realize they cost about the same as a
basic Vista box with monitor.
Vista Basic is not that bad. Personally I hate that all these editions
exist, but what can you do... Marketing, am I right fellahs?!

Chess, get Chessmaster 10th Anniversery Edition, it was realeased like a
year ago, but it's a good program. I still have an old copy for Kasperavs
Gambit for my Atari 800 I could be persuaded to part with as well.
