Is there a way to find out what is causing high hard disk usage? With task
manager, we can see what processes are running, how much memory they take,
and how much CPU they take. Is there something similar for hard disk usage?
Jay,

Yes.
Inside Task Manager click on the "Performance" tab and click on the "Resource Monitor" button. You will see a section for "Disk". Click the drop down arrow for full details on it.

Hope this helps,
Shawn
