perhaps the thumbnails were created on some of the encrypted images BEFORE
you encrypted them...
while the ones that do not display the thumnails were not created before the
encryption,
and the thumbnails cannot be created after encryption...
Perhaps you should try this: un-encrypt one image.. view it in the gallery
so you will be sure that the thumbnail is generated, then encrypt it again
and see if it shows the thumb.
please tell us your findings since this is interesting
