This is nuts.

Intel own Processor ID program says I have 2 cores, yet windows
performance report says only 1
I reinstalled onto other HD my old XP Pro and sure enough dual cores
I've updated the BIOS, works great for Xp as I can turn on and off the
bios option to use both cores or not, but this doesn't effect Vsta at
all.
