When is Microsoft going to fix this problem?

This is like the forth update Microsoft has released for the nForce4 Serial
ATA Controller. Everytime I download the nForce4 Serial ATA Controller
Update, my Windows Vista magically says I installed New Hardware (Which I
didn't, I just installed a Driver Update which MICROSOFT published) and I
must call the 1-800 number and speak to a Microsoft Representative just to
activate my geniune Windows Vista which was already activated before it got
de-activated after I installed the Windows Vista update that Microsoft
published.

I'm starting to get angry and annoyed here.
