RE: Music Properties There are a number of programs that will automatically find album artwork
without having to use iTunes. I find the best way to handle cover art is to
imbed the art into the music file. You cannot do that with all files types
but it does work with any mp3 or wma file. Then, no matter what program you
use to play the file or what mp3 player you use, th ecover art will be
displayed. I used to use Music Match but after they were bought by Yahoo,
they just discontinues their player. You can add art in MediaMonkey. It goes
out to amazon to findf th e art and will attach the art or imbed depending on
what you tell it. This is important. I have found that most music files
whehter in iTunes or some other program cannot be edited until you first make
a copy of your music file. XP was not like that and I am trying to fond out
why. The easiest way I know to copy your files is when you use iTunes, go in
your preferences and check the advanced box that says, make a copy of all
imported songs. MP3Tag also will locate album art and FixTunes as well.
