Ok so I did some research. Rumor has it that OpenAL can be fixed/supported through drivers. Right now Tritton offers a beta driver for x64/x32 vista so obviously those drivers can be fine tuned and fixed to support OpenAL entirely. All OpenAL is is an API similar to OpenGL except its for Audio rather then graphics. So all Tritton needs to do is take their hardware and incorporate the OpenAL API and get it to work with their software. |
