Open Regedit.exe and navigate to:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FileExts\.PDF\UserChoice]
Right-click "UserChoice" and choose "Delete".
Then go to this key:
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AcroExch.Document\shell]
Double-click (default) and type "open" as its Value data.
Close Regedit.exe
