The "1" and "2" are buttons on your monitor, not on your keyboard. As
for the screen resolution, your video card must support it. Since I
don't know what video card you have, I can't tell you whether it does or
not. Go to either the video card mftr.'s website OR the OEM's website if
you have that sort of computer (Dell, HP, Sony, etc.) for your specific
model machine. Download the latest video drivers for your card and
install them. If your card supports 1680x1050, you should now be able to
set the resolution.
