Ubuntu is crap, no doubt about it. The default color scheme is
hideous. PCLinuxOS is much better looking. I'm posting from it right
now. Sort of a cross between OS X and Windows XP. More and better
included apps also.

I have Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, Solaris 10 and OS X installed in VMWare 6.
PCLinuxOS installs in VPC also, Ubuntu does not.
