Hi Dan,

Try uninstalling Norton and use the free Avast antivirus instead. Norton has been known to cause problems with Vista. Not sure on Bullguard, but it seems that there is a problem with it on yours. Make sure you only have one Antivirus program installed at a time.

Now check Security Center to see what it says.
