Hi Ishpg,
From the Main Windows Live Messenger Window:
1. Right click on the Contact you want to delete.
2. Click Delete.
3. In the pop-up window, check "Also remove from my Windows Live Hotmail contacts"
4. Click "Delete Contact" button.
It should remove it then.
