Gary, I am not trying to be disagreeable and your help has been
outstanding. I personally do not and have not used either Norton/McAfee
in over 10 years. My point is this, it may me some call or routine in
these programs that may be similar in other programs that those of us
having the continued problems have in common. Since we are having very
similar problems and not using the (problem) AV programs, would you not
agree? I will also point out that I personally never allow my AV to scan
my email as a matter of common sense as it slows the delivery
unnecessarily. Also, even though I have not been a frequent poster, I
have been a subscriber to the MS newsgroups for as long as they have
been available....
