Re: Lost restore points

ss-

You're quite right. You can't do anything to merge them because they are
different file formats (as you know) is what people from MSFT have told me.
But...

(I can't tell you the time line) I noticed the last few months (and I didn't
do anything to make this happen) that messages I mail to Win Mail's in box
show up in OE's box on XP now. But that wasn't the case for a long
time--though the Betas and my memory is hazy on this so I don't know if
something in RTM Vista changed this.
As to Outlook, you can merge them easily if the accounts are on different
OS's.

On a dual boot machine, I rarely (and I mean for months) don't boot up to XP
because I can access the XP files and desktop from Vista so I have no real
need to. That's why I can't give you a firm time line. The last couple
times I have though, I noticed my Win mail inbox entries in OE--that hadn't
been happening.

I'll try to find out what could have changed this. One of the OE/Win Mail
experts that hang on that group would be more likely to keep up with
anything happening in them.
