I might add if you have the DVD you can use System Restore from Win RE's
Recovery link--and it's important to emphasize that you have System restore
accessable from F8 (when you have the points all 4 safe modes and one might
work when another doesn't--I see this all the time--and also from the Vista
DVD.
Of course in all cases you have to have the restore point or points to begin
with.
