This is where I praise Vista, XP as well. the O/S takes all aspects of
Harware installation int account. I get so tired of People downing the O/S
when in fact its the Hardware, Software manufacturer that's the cause of the
headaches.
Vista has been out long enough and I'm sure Microsoft gave vendors like HP
plenty of Heads up before Vista's relese to get their drivers up to Date.
The blame for this problem lays squarely on HP's Shoulders, not Vista.
Chattz, what you need to do Is like I did and bug the crap out of HP for
updated drivers. If they ignore you or suggest bying another Printer, like
they did with me, youse your power of a Consumer and buy a Printer that has
support behind its product.
When a Co turns its Back on new technology the way HP has, and then tries to
force me into buying new Hardware because they don't want to support their
older products, its Time to look elsewhere.
