When I go to users, as you suggest, there are several different types of sub
folders contained under users.

So if I select properties for users knowing that the subdirectories are of
different types where are the views that will be used for each type.

This is such a crazy way that vista randomly and without reason changes views.

Could you give a step by step instructions on how to set the properties for
each folder type that vista supports. Also how does Vista decide which
template to use for each folder?`

Does this have enough visibility to get something setup that assures that
each template gets sets and does not change. Also how does Vista decide
which template to use for each folder?`
Hi Ernie,

You can see the different types of templates here and how to change them. Vista decides on what template to use by what file types are in the folder. (EX: .jpeg, .exe, .wav, etc....)
