It's true, trial version doesn't work in Vista
I downloaded the trial version of Elements 5 and installed it. Then I tried
to install the patch for Vista, the "patch" said it couldn't find Elements 5
and didn't install. I tried running the trial version with outthe patch, it
started up and then terminated itself. So it looks like I can't try it
without buying it first.
The price isn't too bad, it's $79.95 at Amazon, no tax, no shipping. Then
there is a $20 rebate if you have some other software for photo editing
(they even count Google's Picassa which is a freebie) so the total price is
$59.95.
