Thanks for the reply. This is a new (6 month old) laptop so I doubt it is
worn out. Because it only happens when logged on to remote desktop I doubt
it is hardware related. Our IT person said only the right shift key works
while in remote desktop but it happens with either shift key. Plus it just
started about two weeks ago. Never had a problem before. I work remotely so
I don't know when the office installs upgrades, etc. My laptop is Vista but
I log on to an XP machine at the office. I doubt this is the issue, again,
because it just started.

Hopefully, someone has had this same exact problem and I'll hear from them.
