Re: Very strange sound prob The Mute button at the bottom of the Windows Sounds slider does not a a very
tiny red crossed circle does it?
When you right click on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar
and select Sounds have you checked that the sound notifications you want are
enabled, and have you tested them from there?
