Just to add to what I've already said, this appears to be a "refresh" issue.
Sometimes this can be resolved by a video card with a lot of physical ram,
256MB or more. If you have an onboard card with shard memory or a card with
a smaller amount of dedicated physical ram, this could be the problem. If
you resolve the problem in both cases by doing as I suggested by first
minimizing the screen and then restoring/maximizing it, refresh is the issue
and you need to take a close look at your graphics card as the possible
culprit as I've described.
