Re: cannot send e-mail? I can help

Both of your send failures are caused by standard port 25 blocks
that most ISPs use nowadays. Your case is more complex since
you need to circumvent port 25 blocks from both home and while
traveling. The best solution is to use an SMTP server port other
than '25'. Unfortunately, Charter is one of the few big ISPs (as far
as I know) which does not offer an alternate port (465 or 587).
I notice you have a Comcast email address. Are you allowed to use
Comcast's SMTP server? If so, see
http://www.comcast.net/help/faq/inde...=Emailtop17686
for instructions on how to use their SMTP server on port 587.
Ignore any incoming server information, because you will want to
leave your incoming settings as is. There is no requirement that
the incoming and outgoing servers must be a matched pair.
