Is there any way to get to some knd of IIS, like at XP and 2000 to test
scripts and so on?
A Inetpub, localhost...??? Does Vista Home Edition have some resource like
that?
Hi Sergio
Sure! Vista includes IIS.
Go to Control Panel, Programs, Turn Windows Features On or Off. When the
"Windows Features" dialogue box appears, check the options under "Internet
Information Services". Click OK. And you're in business.
If you are using tools like SQL Server Reporting Services, they may expect
the IIS 6 Compatibility options to be included.
Also note that Vista Home edition does not support Windows Authentication.
But Basic Authentication etc are all there.
Hope it helps,
